Hi! I'm Monica Medlin, and I've had the privilege of being the school counselor at Britt David Magnet Academy for the past 13 years. I’m passionate about helping children grow emotionally and socially, believing that every child deserves someone in their corner. My mission is simple: if I can reach even one child, I’ll have fulfilled my purpose.

When I'm not at school, I’m busy with my family. I've been married to my wonderful husband Alex for 16 years, and together we have two amazing children: an 11-year-old son Jackson and a 9-year-old daughter Bailey. Between baseball games and dance practices, I often joke that I’m basically an Uber driver for my kids!

In my free time, I love visiting Disney and relaxing at the beach—my two happy places!
